Originally this week\u2019s blog post was supposed to be about this awesome darkroom kit I randomly found online at Craigslist for an unbelievable price. I\u2019m still excited to share how I plan to set up a very basic darkroom in our apartment bathroom. But that post will have to be pushed to next week. A lot of my personal deadlines for this week went on hold as first Ronnie, then I got the nasty cold\/flu virus that\u2019s been going around lately. <\/p>\n
I cannot even remember the last time I felt this wiped out from a cold. Forget eating, fluids, medicine, all I really wanted to do was lay in bed and sleep it off and probably would have done exactly that if it hadn\u2019t been for Ronnie. It blew my mind how much he did to take care of me this week even while he was still battling his own fever. I mean, I was a total mess and couldn\u2019t get myself off the couch at times. He went grocery shopping, bought me all kinds of medicine, took me to the doctor\u2019s office, cooked, made sure I ate and drank lots of fluids, cleaned up after me and never lost his patience.<\/p>\n
I am continually amazed by this man and find myself falling deeper and deeper in love with him as each day passes. He makes me want to rise to a higher standard. I couldn\u2019t have asked for a better partner is this adventure called life. May God protect us and strengthen our bond.
