When I turned 41, I started to think, OMG, what have I been doing with my life? And, I also started thinking, man, I’m getting old where did the time go? It took me a while to embrace my forties, but now it’s getting easier each year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m finding that I’m much wiser and able to make better decisions for myself, which made it the perfect time to be part of the 40 over 40 photography campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took me 7 years to get my degree, but I never gave up. I used to be ashamed of letting people know how long it took me to finish. But now it lets me know how much of a fighter I am. No matter what I was going through at the time, I didn’t give up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n As long as you have breath in your body, nothing is impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Family matters to me. They have been my supporters in everything I have accomplished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n “I need to see my own beauty and to continue to be reminded that I am enough<\/strong>, that I am worthy of love without effort, that I am beautiful, that the texture of my hair and that the shape of my curves, the size of my lips, the color of my skin, and the feelings that I have are all worthy and okay.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Girl, if you want it, go get it! Do not let anyone tell you it’s not for you or that you’re dreaming too big. You are worthy of great things. All you have to do is grab it and go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Creative, optimistic, open-minded<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel so proud when I look at the final portraits.
