I met Vivienne at a networking event a couple of months ago. She is beautiful, sassy and just ridiculously smart. She’s a fabulous realtor and is amazing at what she does. In particular, I love that she develops and maintains a relationship with all her clients, even the ones she has already help buy/sell a home. Ronnie and I aren’t ready to buy a home yet, but I already know who my realtor will be when we’re ready! Already, I have learned so much from her about developing relationships, networking and business. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to photograph her and her friend Jammie. You can see Jammie’s post here. Enjoy!
Of course, we always start off a Beauty and Glamour session with professional hair and makeup. It is super relaxing and clients always walk away feeling like a million bucks.
Doesn’t Viv have the most amazing blue eyes ever? I nearly passed out when I saw how lovely these were.
I love everything about this one so much!
Viv brought in her mother’s mink coat so we added it into the session. I thought it was a brilliant idea and I love incorporating personal pieces that have meaning to my clients. This is my absolute favorite shot of the session. Vivienne looks incredibly regal and aristocratic. Ronnie and I couldn’t stop looking at this particular photo and we kept trying to figure out why. What we decided is that it is the expression in her eyes, the way Viv is looking at you through the photo. It is like she’s making eye contact with you and holding your gaze. Amazing!
Some yummy backlighting and feminine flowers in the hair:
I love making a series of three with the black and white movement photos. You can see how beautiful and vivacious Viv is in these:
Viv opted for the beautiful folio box to preserve and present her portrait session. What I especially love about the folio box, besides that it has such a fine art feel to the presentation, is that unlike an album, you can remove and display the photos you want. Although you can easily drop them into a nice contemporary frame, I also like displaying them on a little easel.
Change the photos up as you feel and if you’re not in a more private mood, tuck the photos away into the folio box.
As a thank you gift, I included some wallet size accordion books for her to share with her husband and family.
The final packaged product.
