An unbelievably lovely day, three gorgeous girls with style, colors, patterns, tutus, and the city of San Francisco – can a Saturday get any better?
I recently had the pleasure of photographing three lovely ladies for a Beauty and the Bay shoot. We started the day with hair, makeup (Becky Lau of Beautiful One for A-List Makeup) and wardrobe. Then the girls all piled into the massive Yukon with Ronnie and I to start our city adventure. We spent the day roaming the city and capturing beautiful photographs of each of them individually and as a group…stopping for a hearty, healthy lunch of course 🙂 Leah, Alyssa and Sonia were so much fun to shoot and definitely brought their A-game! My favorite shoots are always the ones that involve not just beautiful subjects and surroundings, but a fun group that enjoys the process. We had some great conversation and a lot of laughs throughout the day. By far, the funniest thing to happen was that it just happened to be “SF No Pants BART Ride Day” right around the Civic Center. Just as we began shooting in the area, a large group of people with no pants on (and some with even less) walked right through the scene. They definitely had a good sense of humor because they photo-bombed Sonia for a couple of shots before we decided to move on to other locations. We ended near the Golden Gate Bridge right around that beautiful time of day when the light gets that beautiful golden hue and everything just looks so warm and lovely.
