Deena Darwish: Children’s Lifestyle Portrait Session

When I first spoke to Sabrina about photographing her daughter Deena, she told me that Deena is very expressive and lively and that she makes tons of cute facial expressions. Wow! Deena was so ADORABLE during our shoot…she has the cutest smile that just lights up her whole face. When she would break out into her grin, I found myself smiling along with her for no reason whatsoever. What a happy baby! 🙂 And the apple does not fall far from the tree. Both Sabrina and Omar are super good looking, highly intelligent and just the most easy-going people you could meet. They were a pleasure to spend time with.

I had a BLAST photographing Deena…mainly because I thought mom, dad and Deena were all so super funny and cute. I left the session singing “Dancey dance…dancey dance.” It actually is still stuck in my head a little bit. 🙂 That was the song Sabrina and her husband , Omar, would sing for Deena to make her smile. Oh and “head and shoulders, knees and toes.” Sabrina and Omar are so affectionate with each other and with Deena. It was very touching actually. 🙂 And it always melts my heart to see fathers just head over heels for their children. Omar definitely is absolutely in LOVE with his baby girl…and she definitely is going to be daddy’s little girl.

Here are some of my favorite photographs from my day with the Deena and her super-fab parents:

Omar and I were speechless at these photos, and I even teary-eyed. Thank you, Fizzah, for capturing such memorable shots of our beauty. And thank you for such a lovely post about our family. You are one of a kind! We love you!
